Inglewood releases draft environmental report on 1.6-Mile train project
A draft environmental report was released today on a planned 1.6-mile transit project to connect the Crenshaw/LAX Metro Line from downtown Inglewood to SoFi Stadium, The Forum and other activity and entertainment centers in the city.
As LAX proceeds with a multibillion-dollar modernization complete with an Automated People Mover train system, Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Blvd, which is walking distance to LAX, has just completed a dramatic and insightful multimillion-dollar renovation. The renovation of the public areas and guests rooms of the 190-room property includes two new Social Distancing Salons.
(Los Angeles, CA) Today, the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) voted unanimously to approve Mayor Eric Garcetti’s nomination of Justin Erbacci as the next Chief Executive Officer of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the City department that owns and operates Los Angeles International (LAX) and Van Nuys airports. Erbacci, who joined LAWA in 2016, has served as Interim CEO since January 1, 2020. Erbacci was selected after an exhaustive national search. The appointment as permanent CEO now must be approved by the Los Angeles City Council.
